The Sooners' 8-4 victory over the Texas Longhorns in Game 2 of the championship series marked a remarkable milestone that solidified their status as a collegiate softball powerhouse.
A Dominant Display of Power and Precision
Oklahoma's victory was fueled by a potent offensive performance. Sophomore infielder Cydney Sanders delivered the game-winning hit, a bases-clearing double that broke a 4-4 tie in the fifth inning.
